Note for next time: it was a good idea to park midway in the Silver Comet Trail's first 25 miles, ride east, then west, then to take lunch break at the car at 50 miles. The last 13 miles were a piece of cake.

Congratulations and here’s to many more birthday rides! I have fond memories of the first one of these and jumping into Sardis Lake to cool off halfway through. Hope you are well! I’m planning on a spin through the park in Vicksburg this evening. Unfortunately, some of the route is closed due to erosion, but not Fort Hill, which remains brutal.
I think of the Vicksburg ride often, and remember that first birthday ride with you every year. Do you also remember that the Rev. (Grisham?) foretold my obituary headline? "93 year old man dies cycling on birthday."
